Missions

Batesville First Assembly’s outreach includes not only our local and regional neighborhoods but also countries around the world through our missions program. Missions outreach is considered a vital part of our ministry. First Assembly supports nearly 70 missionaries and outreach programs through monthly gifts and prayer support.
A Missions’ Committee, working with the pastor, coordinates the missions’ program activities for the local body. Their activities include planning an annual missions’ convention which focuses on communicating information about the program. At each convention, annual commitments are made for support of the missions’ program.

Regular feedback is given to the congregation on the impact of supported programs. Missionaries who have served at diverse sites around the world regularly visit and participate in First Assembly services. They always have an interesting perspective to share on world events as they present God’s special work in their host country.
